Every functional area or discipline has its own way of looking at the world. It’s part of the way that we learn and how the expertise is developed. Whether your background is Sales, Accounting, Marketing, Technology, Medicine, Logistics or Civil Engineering, specific frameworks, expectations and structures are used train the mind to think about your area of expertise in a particular way. It also trains us to make decisions using these specific criteria and they create preferences for particular approaches and outlooks.
